I should have told yall about JMSN (pronounced “Jameson”) a long time ago. He’s a humble, creative artist from Detroit, a city known for producing raw, authentic talent. When I first heard his music, it felt like pure serendipity; his debut album Priscilla struck me as absolute perfection. It’s been three years, and yet this masterpiece remains a hidden gem for many. JMSN wrote, produced, and mixed every song on Priscilla, and the result feels like an immersive journey through an intense love story, start to finish. Following Priscilla, he dropped Pllajë, and then his most recent release, the JMSN (Blue Album), which is just under a year old. This latest album includes one of the sweetest tracks I’ve ever heard.

I was lucky enough to see JMSN perform live on Thursday, May 7th, 2015, at the Loving Touch in Ferndale, MI. The intimate setting was perfect for experiencing his music up close, and it truly showcased his incredible talent. His live shows are next-level, and I can’t wait to experience it all again.
