Last year The-Dream left Def Jam & started his own independent label ‘Contra-Paris’ along with, Tricky Stewart & Jay-Z – The Art & Culture Label. He then later released his 2-part EP ‘Crown’ , & ‘Crown Jewel’ on the label earlier this year. The-Dream wants music to be seen as art ; the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. Many people don’t view music as art, because you cant see it. But with Contra-Paris The-Dream is going to change the vision of music.
