In my opinion to grasp my attention when I’m listening to your music for the first time, your sound & approach has to be unique. My friend & I were listening to Pandora one day last summer & Majid Jordan came on & their sound & voices were unlike anything we’d listened to before.  Majid Jordan is a Canadian group under Drake’s, 40 & Oliver’s  OVO label. The group consists of duo  Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman ; so we see where the name came from! 😉 The two featured on Drake’s “Hold on, were going home” track back in 2013 & shortly after they released their first EP ‘Afterhours‘ which in total has 8 tracks. My all time favorite song on the EP is “Patience” listen below & you’ll see why
